Coleman Family History

The Colemans of London

Four generations of the Coleman-Breeze family lived or were born in London.
This section will tell more of their lives in London.

Henry Frederick Coleman (Kallnung) was a german merchant seaman, who settled in England. He was born in 1863, and as he doesn't show up on the 1881 census, he probably entered England sometime after 1881. He and his family moved around a lot in London ...

(This is assuming, of course, that he actually was a german merchant seaman ... on the 1901 census he gives his place of birth as Stepney !)
